From Decades of Craftsmanship to a New Chapter: Sharing My Woodworking Knowledge

I’ve always wanted to start a website. For the longest time, I wasn’t sure what it would be about or what direction to take. I have so many interests and hobbies that it’s hard to narrow it down to just one. After some thought, I decided to create a site centered around something I truly love: building with wood.

This site will be all about woodworking and everything related to it—building furniture, crafting small items like cutting boards, and exploring creative ways to work with wood. If it involves using your hands to create something useful and beautiful, it fits perfectly here.

In the future, I’d love for this site to provide value to others, maybe even evolve into a service or resource for anyone interested in woodworking and crafting. While it would be great for the website to eventually pay for itself, I’m not big on ads. For now, I’ll keep things simple by focusing on small projects and sharing my journey with you.

One of the first projects I’ll tackle is turning a piece of walnut I’ve had sitting on my workbench for over a year into a cutting board. Now that I’ve moved into a new space and carved out a little area for woodworking, it’s time to finally put it to use. Of course, the space needs some cleaning and organizing first, but that’s all part of the process.

As I dive into these projects, I’ll keep things simple and see where this journey takes me. At some point, I plan to create a mailing list so you can stay updated, but for now, I invite you to bookmark this site and follow along as I figure it all out.

This website isn’t just about woodworking; it’s about a lifestyle of creating, building, and working with your hands. It’s about making useful things and exploring the joy of craftsmanship.

Well, it probably sounds like I have no idea what I’m talking about. To be honest, I have no idea how to express what I want to talk about yet. So bear with me—I’m sure it’ll improve over time.

Thanks for stopping by!
